THE WIND
Due to the strong winds blowing across the Strait of Gibraltar, Tarifa is the Mecca for windsurfing and kitesurfing. Kitesurfers from all over Europe come here to enjoy the fantastic spots.
IDEAL FOR NATURE LOVERS
We are at the narrowest point between Europe and Africa making Tarifa a privileged area to observe bird migrations on their journey to the other continent. Here you can see wild vultures feeding in their natural habitat or spot whales, dolphins and tuna on one of the whale watching boats.

In addition to the beautiful cycling and hiking trails, there are amazing climbing areas. The main activities to do in Tarifa are horse riding, diving, windsurfing and surfing, paddle surfing, outdoor yoga … Most of the activities can be done with children. Tarifa has a very interesting history. Explore the historic town and its monuments; the ancient wall, castles and churches. A few kilometers away, in Bolonia, discover amazingly preserved Roman ruins set in stunning natural surroundings.
